Inclusion and Gender Equality Through Softball (IGETS)

Gozo, Malta – In cooperation with the EU Funded Erasmus+ Sport – Small Collaboration project, three participating clubs (King Princ – Croatia, Olympia Haarlem – Netherlands & Redcoats – Malta) met for the first conference in Ghajnsielem to share best practices and introduce the game of softball to over 200 primary school students.

The project, entitled Inclusion and Gender Equality Through Softball (IGETS), promotes the sport of softball through grassroots development, administrative guidance, and cross-cultural collaboration. Three meetings are scheduled throughout the duration of the project in each city of the participating clubs.

Run the Bases will act as a consultant on the project, offer instruction and teach values-based coaching techniques to the participating nations.  This project is slated to run two-years with a final conference in Zagreb, Croatia. For more information please visit: IGETS.
